Life is challenging. There may be a strong desire in everyone of us to have a simple, unchallenging, unstressful life, but inevitably, challenges and obstacles are thrown onto our path. To lead a successful, fulfilling life, you have to accept that reality, accept that more often than not, things are not going to go the way you want it to. You have to be strong and fight on, you cannot lose hope. Yes, life is challenging, but that is the way. The strongest in will and character would be able to fight through and be successful. And in the end, he/she would have led a fulfilling, meaningful life. The challenges are what makes life worth living. It is a life that you can be proud of.

Along the path of life, there will be many stumbling blocks, many wide rushing rivers and deep canyons, little pebbles, large cliffs, they take on any form and any size. We all start out on this journey alone. We go through thorny forests, we swim through stormy seas. There are many twists and turns along this journey. Sometimes there are loops, you go on and on, and realise you have arrived again at where you started, sometimes you face mazes, once you get in, you are lost for days, years, on end. The path also crosses other paths, sometimes we meet people, but then the paths diverge and we bid farewell. Fortunate ones of us would gain a partner along this journey. Travelling along the path together, they can help each other out, pull each other out of crevices, hang onto each other, provide each other with support and motivation. Along the way, there may be parts where obstacles diverge their paths, but they would rejoin back again. They will have each other for life, they will. The important thing is to keep on moving along, to not bemoan fate and life, to go on to the part of the journey where they would meet again. There is no use in staying put in sadness and anger, only moving forward.

And I will be strong and fight on, I will not lose hope, I will move forward
